New Revised Plan

We have changed our schedule a bit. Instead of going to Jennifer's condo, you will be stopping at a fabulous restaurant for lunch and then continuing to Frisco later in the afternoon. We took this same route and it helped with acclimating. After leaving the rental car area, proceed on I-70 to the Dillon/Silverthorne Exit. Turn left and proceed to the Dillon Dam Brewery (on right). There will be signs along the way. We would recommend the Quesdadilla Apollo. Whenever you are finished, there is an oulet mall right by the exit or get back on I-70...go to Frisco Exit (very next exit). The main shopping area in Frisco is on Main Street. There are great shops in Frisco. The house should be ready about 4:15. The house is just a few Blocks off main street.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone. Safe travels!

We're here!

Settling in...in the magnificent mountains! Our trip went very smoothly and we are now acclimating. The weather is wonderful and the mountains could not be more beautiful. We will give you an update in a few days...

We are all a little loony because of the altitude but the green tea seems to be helping!! Be prepared.

Check your shoes and politics at the door!

Just a few words to help make our stay more enjoyable.

The owners are requesting no shoes in the condo, so please pack extra socks or slippers if you desire. We are hoping for a fun, pleasant week so we are also asking that our politics stay home. Thanks!

Check the weather as you pack. The weather in Colorado has been quite mild, please look at the forecast as we get closer. You may want to try weather.com and click on the hourly forecast. Colorado is not having the hot weather we are. Pack those layers!

EXCITED!

Pack lightly

Please remember to PACK LIGHTLY! We have very limited room for luggage on the return trip to the airport, please don't overpack, or bring huge bags. Mary G.has even offered to come and view your suitcase so she can help to cut down!! We do have laundry facilities at the house, so just bring the essentials.

You may want to include chap stick, a bandana, and kleenex in your pack.

Don't forget that the three of us will be leaving on Saturday. We will update you by way of the blog, please check it often. We welcome questions or comments to help others with ideas....

MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE BLOG BEFORE YOU LEAVE. We may be posting some changes or Important
info once we get there.

Pack for the climbs, a bike trip and a few dinners out. You may want to include a 1 semi nice outfit for dinners.

We will email you updated itineraries and cell phone numbers soon.

IMPORTANT INFO for FOURTEENERS

Please read the information in this link if you are planning to hike any of the Fourteeners. This is a comprehensive guide to hiking a Fourteener and includes trail etiquette. Remember we are hiking in July so you may not need some of the warmer clothing that is suggested. Morning temperatures may be in the 50's. Also bring a lightweight rain jacket. Mary G and Jennifer will have first aid kits, you won't need your own. If you have any questions, please post them. Happy Reading!!
